How I Made My First $150 Blogging — Full Roadmap

Intro
If we talk about blogging and if a beginner wants to explain what blogging is, then actually blogging is something in which you create your own website, write articles on it, and monetize them through different platforms. When people read your articles and ads are shown there, you can earn money. I will share how I started blogging and how I earned my first $150 through it.
Build Your Blog Properly Before Publishing
Now, the most important thing that people often ignore is that, in the pursuit of generating quick income, they do not set up their blog properly, do not theme their website properly, do not install plugins in it, and do not make it properly user-friendly, which is a big problem due to which their blogs are often not monetized.
If you do not do this at all, you have to set up your blog properly. Create your blog on WordPress, post at least 30 to 50 articles on it, okay? It is said that you have to build a base, you have to build a foundation, you have to use clean themes, use important images, and along with this, you have to maintain the speed of your website.
Don’t Waste Weeks on Design
Now, this does not mean that you should spend your time and energy only on designing and not focus on the content you write inside. The design of a blogging website is definitely important. Make it user-friendly and easy to use. If you are starting a new website, use a free theme and make it easy to access and easy to use.
Publish Enough Content
As I have told you above, you have to focus on the quality of your content in your posts and create content in which you provide some value to your users or visitors to your website, so that they can also benefit from it.
Therefore, you have to post at least 30 to 50 high-quality articles, which you have to post with consistency, and their length should also be good, not too short. They should be value-providing, and they should be self-created.
Learn SEO Early
Now, SEO is a very important aspect if you want to do blogging. The meaning of SEO is that you have to do keyword research on Google and search for what people are searching for about the blogs you are writing about. You have to try to use those keywords in your content so that your website automatically gets a high ranking in Google’s search results.
You will do blogging SEO for this. Okay, after that, you can also do internal linking and use optimized headings so that the answers to people’s questions are found.

Choose One Niche
Now, you have to do one more thing. Before selecting your niche, you have to do a lot of research and select the niche that you are passionate about and about which you can write content.
And that niche should be one that is highly profitable and has a good RPM, so that when people come to it and stay on it, and so that it should be such a niche that is attractive so that people see your content as much as possible and it should be related to their interest, and it should also be like that and your content should also be according to it.
Now, if we talk about how you have brought traffic to your blog, which is very important and often this thing worries those who are starting blogging a lot, then you can use traffic from Pinterest for traffic. You can post daily. You can use traffic from Google if you are good at it, and secondly, you can also use traffic from Facebook. You can also generate your traffic by marketing on Instagram. You can also do TikTok through and by posting Threads, you can also generate your traffic from here by writing about your blog.
And gradually, as you work, your audience will build, due to which you will continue to get good, healthy traffic if you continue to do and post good work.
Make Attractive Pins and Images
Now, if we talk about how you can generate your traffic from Pinterest, for this you have to generate Pins on Pinterest and do marketing. You can use Canva to generate Pins and try. You have to generate Pins with good headings and relate them to the related Pins of your content so that the same audience sees your Pins that will come to your blogging website and read your content, and through that, when they see the monetized ads, you will earn.
And the titles and images that you have to use should be attractive and user-friendly to create Pins so that maximum audience can be generated.
Stop Chasing Money Too Early
I give this advice to many people, especially to my close ones, that if you want to start blogging at an early stage, you should not run after money, while you should push to give value to your content, your work, improve its content, improve the blogs you are posting in it, and think about blogging as a long-term plan and do not consider it a quick scheme that you will become rich overnight.
But take it long-term and focus on your writing, focus on your learning, focus on your publishing, focus on improving your skills, and provide maximum value to people.
That will happen only if you have good research on a topic and have experience, and you provide that experience in good words by seeing people in the content.

Monetize After Getting Visitors
Another important thing is that you should monetize your blog only when you have a good, healthy audience. After that, you should monetize your blog or do affiliate marketing on it or sell your digital product.
Before that, you should focus on improving your content. Okay, and on top of that, build a solid base. Then, you can move on to earning.
This means that you will go through each process step by step, and your income will also start generating personal income.
My First Roadmap to $150
Now, if I tell you my total journey of how I earned $150 from my first blogging website, first of all, I would like to say that when I was a beginner, I also wanted to generate a lot of income overnight.
But as time passed, I realized that for this, first, in the first week, I set up my blog. In the second week, I posted at least 10 to 12 articles. After that, I had written a total of 20 articles in it. Then, I started learning SEO in the third month and held on to it well.
After that, I also started marketing my blog on Pinterest. I found its related affiliate products and listed them on my website, and thus, in the sixth month, I gradually earned my $150, my first dollars, which is a new beginner’s income.
So many dreams come true, but now I’m still remembering when I first earned my $150.
Realistic Expectations
Now, as a beginner, I have told you my entire roadmap, but you still should not consider it as overnight success and do not run after monetizing your content too quickly like the rest.
You have to improve the quality of your content first and remember that blogging takes time and blogging income is what it is.
You also have to keep in mind that maybe I earned $150 in the first six months, but it may take you three to 12 months to earn it, and different blogs grow differently.
But if you keep working with consistency and hard work, you will beat any perfection and you will be successful.
Action Plan
Now, if I want to give you some summary and action plan, it would be that if you start from today, first do research on your niche, then buy hosting.
After buying hosting, you have to install your WordPress. Try to create at least 30+ articles for your content, select micro-targeting, explain the same content in detail, then learn SEO at the same time.
Create creative Pins on Pinterest so that people are engaged. You can also use other platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and any other platform. On these, you can promote your content as much as it is related to your blog.
You can also do free marketing, create your own email list, and you should also analyze your results monthly to see how your content is growing, on which platform more people are engaging with you, and on which one you are getting the most engagement.
Conclusion
In conclusion, I would just like to tell you that, as I said above, you should not consider it as overnight success at all.
You can generate a lot of income from blogging. It can give you total freedom. The first $150 required in life can be very hard for you. But once you hit this milestone, it can increase gradually.
And when you stop thinking like the rest and start your hard work right away, you should not consider it as an overnight money-making scheme. But you have to work hard on it and focus on understanding what the market demands and what kind of content you should post and how to engage your audience.
Once you understand this and you have set up your blogging properly and built a good, healthy audience and provided them with valuable content, then you will gradually increase your income.
You can generate more than this $150 income and make it your full source of income.
